Alegria NHS Learning Shed Project
Learning Shed Project of Matinao National High School
Mainit, Surigao del Norte
Learning Shed is believed by many educators and researchers as one of
the best remedies in solving the problem of the students which is uninterested
to learn caused by lack of student learning centers where they can gather,
stay, and mingle to discuss various topics of interest.
Learning Shed is an alternative area where teaching-learning process
will be facilitated. A place where students can freely discuss interesting
topics which are practical to their social, emotional and intellectual aspects.
According to the teachers of Matin-ao and Mainit National High School,
this learning shed has accommodated a number of concerns specially during
monthly events like Nutrition Month and Linggo ng mga Wika. Now that they have
this learning shed, they no longer need to build temporary sheds during the
said events. The nurses added, they even had accomodated in the learning shed
students who were not feeling well. During recess and lunch, students stay in
their respective learning shed to settle down and eat.
This Learning Shed Project of Alegria National High School has
short-term and long-term objectives. The former objective is focused solely in
the development of the learning infrastructure which is expected to concretize
the latter:
1. develop learning interest in
students who are uninterested to learn in school,
2. build alternative learning
area where teaching-learning process can revolve,
3. build a learning shed where
Alegrianons will always remember the benevolence of the individual/group that leads
to the educational prosperity of the young Alegrianons.
Thus, the General PTA, Faculty, Staff and Administration of Alegria NHS
ask for your financial assistance to realize this educational project.
